Grant Writing for Recycling

Come learn about grant writing best practices, available funding sources for recycling and diversion programs and tactics that help make grant proposals stand-out. The training will lead participants through a wide range of grant planning and writing components that includes understanding grant guidelines, eligibility, planning a grant project, outlining the development of goals and objectives, grant evaluation needs, strategy, partnerships, budget development, equipment identification, in-kind and cash matches and approval requirements. The NM Environment Department: Solid Waste Bureau will present on the Recycling and Illegal Dumping grant program, introducing an updated application, reviewing grant priorities and sharing examples of grant-funded projects. A summary of state, federal, and foundation grant opportunities will also be provided and discussed.
Registration: $100 NMRC members, $175 for non-members. Discount of $25 per person when 3 people from the same entity register.
